Kyle Archie Knight (b. 1999) is a Wiradjuri queer photographic artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. He graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Arts (Photography) (Honours) Honours First Class.

Knight has a keen interest in the mundane and humdrum suburbia of Naarm/Melbourne. From this fascination, he produced a long-form project, Cruising for a Bruising, and with this project was a finalist (with High Commendation) in the Ballarat International Foto Biennale (BIFB) 2022 GradFoto exhibition. He has since been included in the 10th Ballarat International Foto Biennale (2023) as a core program artist - as part of the BIFB Fire Country initiative – with images from the series Cruising for a Bruising on exhibition along with copies of his debut photobook of the same name, published by M.33 Melbourne.

From the success of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale and his debut photobook, Knight has since been invited to participate in the PHOTO 2024 ‘New Photographers’ exhibition held at Daine Singer Gallery.

Alongside his documentary practice, Kyle Archie Knight is becoming sought after for his work as an editorial and commercial photographer, particularly within the First Nations and fashion arenas. Such events include the Melbourne Fashion Festival and Melbourne Fashion Week.
