‘BOY TOY’

In the spirit of Instant Photography, specifically Polaroids, there is an air of playfulness and spontaneity within the series, entitled BOY TOY. Contained within the iconic Polaroid ratio, I am playing with, performing, and examining masculinity, femininity, and queerness. In an attempt to understand where I fit within it all, to ask what deems something as ‘masculine’ or ‘feminine’, and to try to Indigenise the white gay male gaze.
